Privacy

This site is run by me, Ben Whitmore. It has no forms, no sign-ups and no tracking or advertising cookies.

  • Hosting: Cloudflare hosts the site and handles your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and block attacks. It may set a short-lived security cookie for that. I only see anonymous totals, such as page views per project.
  • Videos: my videos play from Vimeo in its do-not-track mode, so Vimeo sets only the cookies it needs to run the player. Vimeo still receives your IP address when a video loads.
  • Fonts and page code: Google Fonts and jsDelivr receive your IP address when a page loads.
  • Email: if you email me, I use your details only to reply and talk about work, and delete them within two years of our last contact.

You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, at bwhitmorevfx@outlook.com. If you're unhappy with how I've handled it, tell me first; you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
